DP2 Heavy Lift Vessel Jumbo Javelin has installed its 100th TP for the Greater Gabbard Offshore Wind Farm (GGOWF), off the UK’s south-east coast.

For this project, Jumbo’s scope includes transport, installation, leveling and grouting of the TP’s. The close cooperation between all parties (client Fluor, Jumbo’s crew, the project team and subcontractors) has resulted in a record-breaking installation performance.

Sofar, the job was done in less than 3.5 months. With another 30 TP’s to go, Jumbo expects to complete its installation works in the second half of August, well before the scheduled completion date.
